Our 25 girls were joined by 20 more from Exeter Saracens, Sidmouth and Paignton last Sunday for 2 excellent games of rugby. Half of the girls got to play on the main pitch which was wonderful for them. Molly took the first kick for the 12v12 sides, while the sun was shining down on High House. The Longfield game of 10v10 was very strong, some really determined rucking and hard tackles. All the girls showed great strength and true grit through some heavy hail showers, showing their ever increasing confidence, and the moral was high. Scorers over the both teams were Maddi, Scally, Megan, Maggie, DD, Katie, Erin & Jessie. A massive thank you must go to Rob Mackenzie and Mike Shute for allowing us to use the pitches, that were very touch and go following the previous nights' rain. Allowing the girls the privilege of playing on High House, on International Womens Day, was hugely appreciated. This weekend we are off ON TOUR!! 2 days of fun followed with a game at Camborne RFC on Sunday.
